The Society organised a National Conference on Mountain Hazards Assessment and Challenges at the Institute for Development of Technical Training (ITDT), Dehradun.
The conference focused on methods for assessing mountain hazards and the scientific, engineering and administrative challenges of managing risk in the Himalayan terrain. It was attended by 89 participants.
